Meet the Artist

Hi, my name is Josh “Shua” Ryan, and I’m the creator behind Shua Studios.

I work full time as a mechanic here in Iowa. When I’m not working, I’m usually drawing, writing, building this studio, or spending time with the people who matter most to me.

Shua Studios was built around a simple idea: Nothing Stands Alone. Nothing is truly isolated. Everything is shaped by relation — by what we go through, what we carry, what we love, and what we create.

Every design begins as an original hand drawing before becoming apparel, artwork, and future tattoo work.

This studio is still growing, but the foundation is real: original work, honest meaning, and a commitment to building something that lasts.
