This is one of the pieces that helped start it all.
Before Shua Studios™ had a defined style, I was experimenting—pulling inspiration from different forms of art and figuring out what felt like mine. American Traditional tattoo artwork was one of those influences. I loved the bold lines, strong imagery, and the way a simple design could carry so much character.
I didn’t want to simply recreate traditional tattoo artwork, though. I wanted to take that influence and draw it my way. This piece became part of that process and helped shape the hand-drawn style that would eventually become recognizable throughout Shua Studios™.
Before there was a Shua Style, there was the process of finding it. This is part of that origin.
